Fiction

Here you can find flash fiction and perhaps the occasional short story. Check back often for new additions!
Books
I am represented by Jessica Negrón of Talcott Notch Literary Services. I write quirky, gritty urban fantasy with strong female leads and the occasional wedgie. I’m a fan of all the ghoulies and ghosties and long-leggedy beasties and love looking for whatever magic I can find. With a little luck, you’ll see some publication news here in the future.
Until then, read some of my flash fiction…
Flash Fiction
Flash fiction is a very short medium. Usually between 100 and 1000 words, these are snippet stories. Here you can read some of my little contest entries.
Amends This was my ineligible entry for last summer’s End of the World Flash Fiction Contest. Just for fun.
Lucky This little chunk of flash was one I forgot about for a long while, but I hope you enjoy it.
Rustle This 300-word flash fiction was my entry for the lovely Anna Meade’s Fairy Ring Flash Fiction Contest.
Undercover At 200 words (with three prompts!) this entry for #MenageMonday over at Cara Michael’s blog finagled me an honorable mention!
Star-Crossed Another #MenageMonday entry!
Shattering Romeo This was my entry for the lovely Anna Meade’s Behind the Curtain Contest. The prompt was to show what happens when the audience can’t see.
